So, I am a couple days late.... Again. Ain't y'all surprised????
So, for last week, I didn't start school on Monday as planned. Folding a ton of laundry and getting things together seemed like it took FOREVER on Monday... and I had to spend Tuesday getting schoolwork all set up to begin. We began school on Wednesday, so we are running a couple days behind schedule... not the end of the world, though. We did not get to go school shopping like we planned, but there is enough around the house that we could get started on a new school year without a new trip to the store.
I didn't make hardly any true Trim Healthy Mama recipes, although all my meals that I make are made with that system in mind. My new favorite is Curried Sausage and Veggies.. Tre YUMMY!!!!
I did use my "Brain" for most of the days, at least to write out what needed to be done that day, and to check what didn't get done that night. I did not practice the piano hardly at all. I am really frustrated right now with it all. I need to get back on it again, though.
SO my list of things to do this week are:
1) Keep School work on track... be finished with Day 8
2) Keep the Backyard neat and enjoyable... wash the dogs!!
3) Plan a shopping list and go shopping for school supplies and groceries
4) Start looking for ideas for the Fifth Family Fellowship
5) Research Cable/ Phone/ Internet options and choose the best one
6) Check for ideas to honor Senior Saints
7) Organize the Coupon Binder!!
If these things all get done, it will be a miracle!!! Thanks for keeping me semi- accountable!!

Week of July 20-26th
Okay, so blogging isn't going so well for me... I would really like to change that, though. Every Sunday afternoon is mine to do as I please, and I would like to start making it more productive. I have been gone for so long that it is hard to know where to begin.
Last blog post, I mentioned God having to do a miracle... well, things are tight here... we are making two house payments, and that means there is not a lot of money for things. But I have watched God provide enough groceries for our family of five for two weeks with only $25... and when I mentioned a miracle, I needed God to provide paper to print schoolwork on. What is amazing, is that He kept pointing out paper around the house.... colored paper that I had for scrapbooking, resume paper that we had bought for Prince Charming when he was applying for jobs. I did not run out of paper until Christmas, when my mom bought me some as a Christmas present. That paper lasted until the end of the school year!! God is SO GOOD!!! Sometimes, I forget the "little things" that he supplies, so I am happy to look back and remember these.
We are on our summer break.... actually, school is supposed to start on Monday so that we can have a holiday from Thanksgiving until New Years.... That may be delayed by one day, I am not sure. Since we finished school on May 31st, we have had company all but two weeks in our home. It has non-stop. That is okay, since we love each person who has come through our home.... just really looking forward to being "our family" again.
So, here is the list of what needs to be done this week:
1) Fold and put away Mount Washmore, and catch up the remaining laundry
2) Find the house that is buried
3) Organize coupons, plan for sales, buy school supplies and groceries
4) Do Week 1 of school
5) Make at least 4 Trim Healthy Mama recipes to get back on track
6) Use my "Brain" to keep up with things needing to be done
7) Practice the piano every day!!!
If I can get these accomplished this week, I will add extra projects back next week.
One more blessing, lest I forget. I mentioned that money is tight, but my boys earned the money last year to buy their own swimming pool, and our landlord told us to move it this year.... because of that, the pool was sitting at an awful angle, and we needed fill dirt to make it level so the boys could really enjoy it. As it happened, my husband earned a $50 gift card to Lowes by his hard work at his work, and God used that to be enough money to buy the dirt we needed... plus a net to clean out the large things from the pool, and a tarp to keep the entry to the pool clean. He is always the God of More than Enough!!!!
Counting my Blessings!!

New week of plans to be done by November 23rd
Well, that break took far longer than I had planned. None of my projects have been done over the last three weeks, only keeping up with things around the house. Sorry to have left my three readers hanging..... However, it is a brand new week and there is a brand new plan.
1. Finish the table for the prayer room
2. Practice the piano every day
3. Keep schoolwork going some how.... long story... but God has to do a miracle that I am excited to see.
4. Catch up a dirty house from the mess it has become since I was sick.
I'll "see" you on Saturday.

Finished Prayer Room & This Week's Plan
I am sorry it has taken me so long to get back on... again.... It has been a busy week, since Mission's Conference was this week... Then I got sick, the WiFi got deleted off of my laptop..... Yeah. Crazy week.
Here's what has gotten me through:
And a lot of prayer and grace!!!
On top of everything for the prayer room, I had to make tamales for the international dinner for Mission Conference.... I don't know that I mentioned that...
Did NOT realize how many tomatillos I would need.... and I ended up using only 4 jalapenos....
Loads of work go into the tamales, and just the right combo of ingredients!!
But my Joe Bobs make any job easier!!!
Pure yummieness!!!!!!
But those aren't the pictures you went out of your way to see. So here goes:
God gave me an awesome deal on these lampshades from the Habitat for Humanity ReStore:
But they needed to look like they belonged together, so I added material to both of them to make them look matching:
And 50 glue sticks later:
And the curtains got a good dent in them...
But my machine had little boys mess with it, so it was doing this to my curtains:
Therefore, the second curtain still needs to be finished, and both need the threads fixed on them.
The table also needs to be finished. I laid it out like this:
And then, I thought about cutting it like this:
But I think I'm going to go back to a simple design instead. That still needs to be done.
I did finish the closet, though. After I had everything else done, it looked really bad:
Like it was definitely unfinished. So I painted:
And Painted:
So much better!!!
Lastly, I finished the "Seek" wall.
And Prince Charming hung the lamp fixture...
Which is BEAUTIFUL!!!
So, here's the pictures you've been waiting for:
And that's as close to panoramic as I can get. I am taking the remainder of this week off...my only goals are to clean my house and go grocery shopping. I'll start working on the curtains and making the table next week as the goals. I'll be back next week with goals for the new week and the next project. :)
Thanks for following... it is my encouragement to keep going.

Weekly Goals through October 19th
SO, there is a TON to do this week. We are going to arrange it by days rather than by things to do:
Monday:
1) Complete the curtains
2) Take apart the beautiful pallet I got
3) Figure out how the lamp shades will be decorated to pull them together and make them worth looking at
Tuesday:
1) Cut and assemble the pallet table
2) Assemble the lamp shades
3) Sand the pallet table
Wednesday:
1) Convince hubby to go to church early so we can
2) Install the lamp shades
3) Paint the table?
4) Install the Curtain rod and curtains
5) Hang the windows and the mirror
Thursday-Saturday:
1) Finish up whatever still needs to be done so I can take it up on Sunday and be done.... I may have to go up one of these days to paint the closet and do any touch-ups.
2) Relax and get ready for Missions Conference next week.
Sounds simple enough, but it's gonna be BUSY!!
See you next week... Have to get an early start, that's why I put it up today rather than tomorrow. Thanks, as always, for being my kick in the seat of the pants.

Weekly Goals to be finished by October 12th
Okay, so I only have three days, but they should be packed.
1) Finish up homeschool for the week early so we can
2) Go apple picking tomorrow, and
3) Set up the Prayer Room on Saturday, because
4) The baseboards went in today, and the carpet goes in tomorrow
5) Also, I need to get the curtains finished today and
6) Get Mt. Washmore folded and put away
Pictures this next Sunday should include some pretty neat ones, as the room is very close to completion!!!!!!
Short, sweet, and to the point.
Although I do have to end with a praise. If only I read it, so only I remember it... This last week, I had only $125 with which to buy groceries for two weeks, and VERY empty cupboards. Now, I've done this before, but now I was trying to do THM, and I needed a LOT more healthy things than I used to get..... I knew I had promised the Lord an offering, and I didn't know how I was going to fit the amount I had promised the Lord into the money I had, knowing it would take away from my grocery budget. I went ahead, and set aside the amount I had promised, and... being discouraged, went shopping. Wouldn't you know, God fit my entire grocery budget in with only a $.03 difference over (which I had, but hadn't calculated in the grocery "budget"), AND He made sure I got plenty of meats AND vegetables too!!!!! Not only that, but as I was putting away my groceries, I went to fill my wheat flour (which I KNOW was empty), and it was already full!! Then, Monday morning, right after I gave the offering, God sent us a $100 gift card in the mail!!!! Once again, I feel foolish for doubting my Saviour!! He is so very good to me!!
Have a wonderful week, y'all.

Goals for the Week... Until October 5th
Is it really already October!?!?!? WOW!!!! We only have three more weeks until the Prayer Room HAS to be finished, but we are aiming for the end of next week. The carpet will be going in any day after Friday of this week... Loads to do!!!!
1) Finish the sanding of the chairs after taking the sander for exchange.
2) Paint the ceiling and the walls of the prayer room.
3) Finish sewing the curtains which I was able to start while the boys were gone... at least got them laid out and started...
Love how they look in the window!!! And they only costed me $2 for the whole thing because the lace was at the Habitat for Humanity store, and the blue sheer and the brown was given to me!!! Thanks, April!!!
4) Finish the blue and white paint for "Knock and it shall be opened".
5) Trace up "Seek and ye shall find."
6) Get the drawer pulls onto the dresser. Find screws for the three pulls without one.
7) Look for pallets for tables.
8) Last but not least, finish homeschool all week and keep the house in decent shape. along with getting some more THM read.
See you next week!!!! Hopefully on Sunday this time!!

This Week's Plans... Before next Friday (8/30)
This week, I not only need to clean my house... I am playing catch-up from being busy planning a party at church for the last three weeks...
It went very well...
And the cake was so fun!!!
But now that it is over... and there is still candy on my kitchen table left from the party... and there are still things to be cleaned up from the games I brought to decorate and play. (No, I am not posting a picture of that... you'll have to use your own imagination.)
So, my goal for this week... before the thirtieth.... is going to be to get my house back to presentable... and to finish decorating my boys bathroom.... I have started, and I have some of the pictures from before... I will post the whole thing next week when it is done. It WILL BE done!!!!
Until then,
Becky
