This Week's Plans... Before next Friday (8/30)

This week, I not only need to clean my house... I am playing catch-up from being busy planning a party at church for the last three weeks...

It went very well...

And the cake was so fun!!!

But now that it is over... and there is still candy on my kitchen table left from the party... and there are still things to be cleaned up from the games I brought to decorate and play. (No, I am not posting a picture of that... you'll have to use your own imagination.)

So, my goal for this week... before the thirtieth.... is going to be to get my house back to presentable... and to finish decorating my boys bathroom.... I have started, and I have some of the pictures from before... I will post the whole thing next week when it is done. It WILL BE done!!!!

Until then,

Becky

Casting All My Care

So, I have tried blogging before... twice.... third time's the charm, right?? I have learned so much from other's blogs, and I wish I could keep up with one for myself. I tend not to keep up with things. I want to change that. I have so many great ideas and plans floating around my head... so for each week, I would like to type up something new that I have done to make my house into a home... Some way I have changed my home, my life, me, my actions, my thoughts. Something I have done for my family.

For now, so you can meet me, I have three little men, and one big man. My boys are the "Joe Bobs". I have Jim Joe Bob, Fred Joe Bob, and Billy Joe Bob. I love working for them and finding new ways to make our home their favorite place to return!! I love reading, I love writing, I love learning, I love teaching. I love to be involved in people's lives... but I love remaining in the background and allowing others to shine. I tend to be overly blunt, and to laugh at myself and my mistakes often. I am often klutzy, and because of this, I am not good for hurting people.... My own mother felt this first hand when she had a major female surgery, and I came home from school and dropped my very full backpack on her tummy while trying to give her a hug. I am a perfectionist, and strive constantly to conquer this character flaw.

I love being involved in people's lives, and I look forward to the many people I may meet through this blog. Thanks for taking the time to meet me.
